Prof. Dr. Christian Thomsen, Präsident der TU Berlin

Welcome!

Get involved and help us shape TU Berlin’s University Strategy.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Members of TU Berlin,

The Executive Board has developed a new University Strategy for TU Berlin.
The University Strategy aims to reflect how TU Berlin perceives itself and describes topics that will be of fundamental importance for the development of our university in the period from 2018 to 2025. For the first time in the history of TU Berlin, all University members now have the opportunity to comment on the draft concept and to add their own ideas. All members of TU Berlin, be they professors, students, research assistants or administrative or technical staff members, are thus invited to help us shape the future of our university!

Now it’s up to you!

On the following pages, you can read the entire University Strategy, or merely excerpts from it, and add your own comments bearing in mind questions such as: What has been aptly described? Which aspects are missing from the text? What remains unclear? What still requires comment or amendment? We look forward to your constructive feedback. From 16 July to 26 August 2018, we invite you to submit your remarks and comments. The rules to be observed when commenting are explained on the following pages. You can also read the text without leaving any comments.

Please register to participate. The protection of your data is guaranteed.

As of 26 August 2018, the results will be edited in a structured way and made available to you online on these pages. In the fall, the modified draft will be discussed in the Academic Senate and with those participants who have contributed their comments. The next steps will then be to adopt and publish our jointly developed University Strategy.

Please seize this opportunity to contribute your ideas to what is an important process of participation at our university. I look forward to your participation and thank you on behalf of the Executive Board for your contribution to this important project.

Your
Professor Dr. Christian Thomsen
(President)
